    Relevant Domain ...VS... Relevant Traffic

Suppose I'm optimizing a web page in UK.
Now I have question getting back link.

Is it better to get back link from .co.uk (domain sites)

    OR

Better to get from those sites which are getting traffic from UK despite what the domain is?

    Thanks

If I were you I do both...
why create back-link for your site? (let's assume everything is up-to-date on your site) strong back-links with exact keywords (potential to your business) in anchor text will give you higher rank for that keywords and higher ranking with those keywords will give you relevant traffic. so getting links from co.uk can help you to create solid base for claiming top ranking in Google UK.

as far as the concern with traffic if you are getting relevant traffic without search engine then you should concentrate more on that. but if you getting junk traffic then don't waste your time...

Don't think about that! Just make sure you get backlinks with high relevancy in regards to your Industry niche and content.

it's better you take backlink from a related site. f.x. my site is number 1 to 3 in first search page with a domain extention like .dk in google.com
