Reasons for Google Indexed URLs descreasing?
On August, Google indexed url was about 6000, and it steadly went up to 12,000 in past 3 month, but now it starts to going down. Currently it is 9,000 and keeps descreasing everyday. Checked many SEO forums but can't find any reason for this. We haven't made much changes on site. We do update xml sitemap with total of 12,500 urls.
Can anyone tell me possible reasons for decreasing??

With the Google caffeine update more pages are suppose to be getting indexed. However, it seems like there is a correlation with PR and the amount of pages being indexed. Did your PR go down with the recent update????

this is very sensitive case the main problem could be of your back links and broken links into your website, remove all dead links from your website, and remove you existing site-map from Google generate new and submit it and check the effects i am sure that u r max url's will be indexed.
