Question Ranking top 10 on international Googles; horrible ranking on main Google

    Hi all -

New here. Looked for a similar post to answer my question but did not find one. My apologies if this has already been covered a million times.

My problem is that my site ranks EXTREMELY WELL on various international google sites but horribly on google.com. My site is in the top 5 on google.de; google.com.mx; google.com.ar for "wedding photographers" and "wedding photography" (which are huge words for my site) and some other international googles but not on google.com.

My site is a PR 5 and ranks well for a lot of local searches. It's been online for 5 years and we follow all guidelines and are purely white hat.

For a couple of years (2007 - 2008) we ranked in the top 10 on G.com for those keywords. But then we disappeared. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get up there again on Google.com.

Any help would be most appreciated as this issue has greatly impacted my business.

Feel free to message me too.

    Many thanks.

without looking at your website a wild guess which could be a common sense too is that US online market is far more competitive that any other online market

ok now looking at your website...

I like how it looks but if you can, change your navigation to text based. I know its an old school suggestion but it can help you a bit. (assuming those are the keywords you are targeting)
