Ranking in UK, CA, AU

I have got my portal ranking very gud in USA and moderately ranking in UK, Canada and Australia. Now my target is to uplift this moderate ranking into gud ones like USA. My company is not in the favour of making new country specific portals, as my original domain has got a very gud age.

We have got offices only in USA but we ship internationally that's the reason i got to rank in the international market, any genuine suggestions appreciated.

try to promote your site in your target country. link to your competitors that also focus on the same place.Also Check its hosting if there IPs are in the country you are targeting using whois.com.

Thanks very much channel 5 for that gud thread but there is a little confusion in my mind regarding folders on same site can u pls jst give me an online ranking example of your stated solution.

Basically it is helpful to target any internal page of your site for a particular country or region.

As mentioned in that post: if you have a site example.com,and you like to target australia region..Make an internal page example.com/xyz - where xyz is the australia region u wants to target..So,it will be better to approach by example.com/australia to target australia instead of example.com....

And as Alakhjain said, promote specific pages for specific region is a nice idea.

Thanks tstolber I don't think some people have realised the effect that geolocation is having on the serps nowadays.. especially the effects that take place for searchers outside of the US.

Getting a firm grip on geolocation is going to become of more and more importance I believe.
