Question re: 2 year old parked domain and google

I just recently used one of my 2 year old parked domains to make a new site and have started linking before my site is even yet appearing in search engine results. My questions are as follows:

1. How many links is too many links to quickly for a new site in Google's eyes? Even though it's a domain that is 2 years old parked? Should I not get too many links even before the site is indexed?

2. Will Google give my site any preference since it was a 2 year old parked domain? (it was never used before I bought it brand new 2 years ago).

3. How soon after my first backlink appears in yahoo can I expect to see my site indexed by google? I'm talking about if you do a search for www.mysite.com, how soon should it show up there after my first backlink appears in yahoo backlink search?

...as many as you can get... but consider this: 1 footer link from 1 domain that has 1 million pages "isn't 1 million links"... it's just 1 link and the impact will seem lackluster... but get 1 link from 1 million different domains... and you will be on top of the world [assuming they are mediocre to fair links are a minimum.

If you are attempting to ask how long to acquire top ranks on the holly grail terms of your industry... that could be a year or more.

If you start with 'longtail stuff' "mere days".... and since it is mere days.... think of how many of these you can acquire in that year... PLUS be in a much better position to capture that holly grail term.

It isn't???

Why is it then O great one, that for many of our sites Google Webmaster Tools shows we have hundreds of links from the same site?

Just because you received an email explaining that you can have 20% of $150 million to help someone get money out of Nigeria doesn't mean you will actually get a return on your investment.

Where does Google Webmaster Tools show you that each link has value... offers potential, real, or otherwise?

Need evidence?

Find anyone that had their links discounted and ask them if Google Webmaster Tools still shows a backlink...

Their answer will be "YES!"

Go figure young grasshopper!

same links but different value.

There is a difference on links coming from single domain compared to different domains.
