question about the dance and what I'm seeing

Now, I know it's still dancing, but it seems like the 2 & 3 servers are almost aligned, and the 1st is off from those.Now, I really like the results in 2 & 3, lol-mostly 'cos a site I've been helping, the new info is appearing in them and not in the 1st.Will their results most likely take over the 1st server at the end of the dance?Hope this made sense, lol

Kat - yes, what you see in www3 moves to www2 and then to the normal www index. There may be some changes during the dance but basically if you're in a certain position in www2 you're likely to be there in the main index after the dance.

how do you explain the fact that the main www was updated today? Or at least the .ca because we guys are redirected to ca when we type google.com (Only if you live in canada...). Did they change their methods and update the www server many times during the big shuffle?

That's typical on an update - you'll see the results going through to the main index and then a rollback to the old index. Apart from the fact that they'll be chopping and changing for a few days, it also depends what data center you hit.

The best way to get around these inconsistencies is to use Darrin's excellent tool and do a search using all the data centers. When the same results come back for all servers, the dance has finished.

While that may be true...... Well yeah... So big deal. We all go down eventually. It used the new index of my page so im WAY down... Well who knows maybe this is a good thing. Its making me redo a bunch of the site. Anyone wanna help by submitting news? didnt think so... Well good luck with ur boosted rankings everyone!
