Question about Article Marketing
Hello All, I have two questions that I have not been able to find a great answer online.
1) Article Marketing(Link Bait) is the best way to get links to a site.
My question is: Once you have created and posted your articles to your site, Whats next? How do you find(attract) suitable link partners. how do you offer your article and link to your page as needed?
2) is it realistic to ask other retailers for a link to my site? It just seems counter-intuitive?

If you want to have the highest probability of success, have some idea of where the first links will come from before you produce the article. Know about high quality websites that link to other websites in your field. Study the content that they currently link to and make something AMAZINGLY BETTER. Then write and let them know about your content and ask if they will include a link to your site.

I don't bother other retailers. Go straight to authority sites.

so once i actually get some links to the article pages, how do i get(drive) traffic to my actual store. if i drive traffic(links) to the articles, then link the article pages to my store, will it improve me search engine ranking?

Write about your products. If you sell mountain bike tires write about how to select them (and link to sales pages of various types)... write about how to change them swiftly (and link to pry sticks, patch kits and pumps).... write about different types of riding (and link to tires that are suitable).

Yes.... but most of my sales are not made to people who search for my products... they are made to people who are searching for how to use them
