QQ: Hosting change will hurt my SEO result or not?

Hi,

I just want to have a quick reply, would that hurt my SEO/rank at all if I switch from one hosting company to another, that means my domain name goes to a new IP.

Thanks

No, people change hosts all of the time and google knows that.

What about changing hosting AND the shopping cart software (for e-commerce websites)?

The change in shopping cart will most likely change all the html filenames, and some of the html formatting. The actual content would stay pretty much the same. (I'm considering changing shopping carts and hosting...)

What shopping cart are you using now? for SEO purpose, I know there are some new shopping cart that will let you change the page names easily.
