    Problem with google webmaster account

I have setup google webmaster and it has already crawled my site couple of times.

However, I have already updated my page long time ago (before the last crawl time) and I have noticed that the pages that are indexed by google are still the old pages.

Is there any reason for this? Since my newer page have more keyword density I would like google to index the newer pages.

I presume he is trying to say he has added new content to his site and he'd like googlebot to re-visit

I know, but if it's for all the wrong reasons, maybe Google can detect that

    Google crawl rate issues

What I've noticed is that Googlebot's crawl rate is dependent on the number of inbound links a site has. Even after running Google webmaster tools and submitting a Google sitemap with a change frequency set to 'daily' don't expect your site to get crawled and re-cached if it has few backlinks (links from other sites). Even a few quality links from trusted sources will help increase Googlebot's interest in your site. Try it, it works wonders!

And, as for increasing keyword density - it won't make any difference. Your site will need to acquire enough links to get Google interested in it.

Now keyword density - it's a myth and is NOT used in the latest Google algorithm. I can show you pages that don't even have a certain keyword on them that rank for the that keyword!! So, don't waste you time with keyword density and concentrate on getting links (preferably one way links).

    Steve

thanks guys for the advice! really aprreciate your help.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. googlebot can crawl my site many times but if it doesn't think that it's interesting (based on the number of backlinks) it will not even re-cache?
