Is It Possible To Undo Penguin?

Alrightythen, I spun articles, did blog postings, blog comments, and forum profiles. Panda didn't hurt. Penguin got me for sure. My homepage (21stcenturyhgh dot com) isn't found for my main 3 keywords (hgh, human growth hormone, growth hormone) although I have internal pages showing up in the 150's. I've received no webmaster tools notifications. Site is PR4, excellent content. Was on first page for 12 years. I only had one paid ad at curezone dot com, but it was a legitimate ad that brought in sales. I've stopped running the ad.

I've deleted many of the articles. I notice now that many article submission sites have gone down since Penguin which has eliminated more of my articles. I'm looking at the open barn door and don't quite know what to do to get the horses back in. Am I doomed? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Remove any links that do not relate to your website.

Use keyword variation in back links and on page links.

I did this and my website, ranked again in 2 days.

I believe fathom provides a service to undo penguin slaps.

I generally do not review domains unless paid to do so... but I love a puzzle.

    PENGUIN

It is best to rel="nofollow" everything that is a questionable link... because if PENGUIN has a claim of 1 link that is UNNATURAL you will never recover... you generally do not need anyone for this.

    all link exchanges MUST GO
    all blog comments MUST GO
    all forum links MUST GO
    all article links MUST GO
    all spun content MUST GO
all link wheel links MUST GO
    all press releases MUST GO
all paid links (it does not matter if no cash changed hands) MUST GO
all links that advertise MUST GO

...and everything else that is not a legitimate "I VOUCH FOR THIS PAGE"... if it is a fake editorial endorsement... it must go.

While appreciated it would be best to not point people to me - I get 10-20 requests a day from people desiring help... and almost 100% of them with their next email (if sent) are calling me an rude ****ing asshole because their non-free business is failing and they MUST earn a living.

I get that... (do they?) ...they can fix their problems absolutely free... there are thousands of people freely posting solutions (including me)... they are not always the best nor the worse but they are free nonetheless.

I am sure that the private consultation you shall provide that should be much more worth than the cost which are being paid by the customores.

Great suggestion, thanks. But can you tell me:

    1. How do you find them all?
    2. What if you no longer have passwords to edit or delete them?
    3. What if a webmaster on a site you want your link deleted from refuses to respond?

Rather than bothering on this you need to work on to develop quality content and don't forget to add SB buttons. Facebook twitter and other Social media sites which could be gather your targeted visitors toward your website.

Have you written up about this in detail anywhere? I would be very interested to read it if so.

May I ask please if this is your opinion or if you have evidence that supports this?

Also: Will penguin penalize the entire site or just the page the bad links point to? From what I have seen it appears to be sitewide, just curious what you think.

Anyway, I can't prove cause and effect, but this is the first time in 10 years he has dropped below my site (he's now on page 2). I can safely say the Links page is not helping him. As Fathom states, it is likely hurting him.

Start with Google's WMT link list... download the spreadsheet.

Go to backlinkwatch.com, opensiteexplore.org, majesticseo.com, and ahrefs.com and scan using each and painstakenly copy all into the WMT link spreadsheet.

    2. What if you no longer have passwords to edit or delete them?
Telling truth to power is my specialty.

Complacency is a real bitch. Seriously if you created a monster and you cannot control the monster anymore there is not anything anyone can do. Your topics are a warning... all you can do to get ahead is with snake oil products (money makers with a claim) is to webspam and that is why you do not want me involved. I will cost you far more than you will make.

I know this... EVERYBODY LIES people will embellish or downplay their problem or issues to get others to work for them without any real concern or understanding.

If you cannot fix anything yourself (honestly no one else can either) all you can do is dump the domain. I have dumped a few thousand over the years because I could not fix the problem quick enough.

Your best bet is to start over with a new domain.

What if a webmaster on a site you want your link deleted from refuses to respond?
Money talks. No one adds you without some greasing of the palm... it works the other way to... people WILL delete (and fast) the more they can make.

    That is all free advice.

Buit please do not email again unless it is about your desire to pay because I cannot do 1 - 4 without doing what I just told you to do.

I may be able to shorten your fruition time but not without lots of cash - and that comes from your pocket - not mine.

Sorry business is about making money for everyone - not just you.

    Google and their paid references.

Webspam is 100% about paid links. They come with many pseudonyms like traded links, 3-way links, comment links, forum sig links, etc., etc., etc.

...and Google suggests paid links are good links... just do not use them to manipulate results.

    This is still theory

You get a sense of shock & awe (sitewide) (an opinion only) because your website is about that part of the link anchor that is UNNATURAL.

If you remove the unnatural part ONLY you will recover almost precisely where you were... ESPECIALLY if you did not get hit by PENGUIN on April 24th.

April 24th is significant... every webspam from 1998-2012 (April 24) is the best before date... and like a carton of soured milk that has soured for 10 years the initial shock & awe of PENGUIN was deadly for many site owners.

But now it is more like (when you get newly caught) it is that one day sort of strange tasting milk - not quite sour but at the edge... and falling off the edge and staying there is a holiday thing until a re-RUN of PENGUIN (well that is the theory but we have only had 1 re-RUN on Memorial Day weekend... next run is IMHO July 3 evening for the July 4 holiday.
