Playing the waiting game - new site indexed and on page 4 how long?
Our site is now 17 days old. Last google cache is Sept 12. We have some good backlinks including DMOZ. My partner is working with a cool SEO guy. We got the google places and google biz + accounts verified. According to the webmaster tools we are indexed. Our main search term brings our site up on the top of page 4 organic results. We are brick & mortar biz in a centralized city that only have 3 competitors with web sites. We are also in all the directories, yellow pages, yelp, mc, etc.
Ok now we are playing the waiting game and it's driving us nuts. What timeline would anyone guess we are looking at? Our 3 competitors show in both the 3pack maps and the organic listings on page 1. Same thing with Bing/Yahoo we are on page 4. The first page is the competitor organic listings followed by 3 pages of similar companies in other states or spam. Then on page 4 at the top you see us.
Because of our centralized location and small amount of competitors our other sites shot to the top of page 1 in 2 weeks as well as the map listings. So this is kinda driving us nuts.

Sometimes it takes more time until the serps are updated. Meanwhile focus on creating quality backlinks and diversify them as much as possible.
