    PDFs indexed, not pages -why?

    Hi all

One of clients sites is a framed site, content managed and I am having trouble getting the sites pages indexed.

Google is able to index PDFs OK and using various 'spider viewer' tools the sitemap/links and content are all visible - but Google cannot get past this.

We have No frame tags in place - any ideas?

I thought a quick fix would be a paid submission for the site map, any thoughts on that?

There is no paid submission into Google, but sending a high PR link or 2 into the sitemap would help. However - where are you placing your links? Are you certain they are spiderable by G within your frameset?
Perhaps post the URL so that we might take a boo

Hi, sorry should have been clearer, paid submission to inktomi and teoma, that sort of thing. Cannot post URL, sorry. I have also put site map url on pages with a pr of 6 and 7 so should get picked up. Just very odd that pdfs from the site ok and not pages.

No biggy, if you got that much firepower pointing at it should be right up there soon enough your right though from what you describe it does seem odd/.

Getting back to inktomie etc, you really think you will get enought traffic to even justify express inclusion? I knwo its only like $35 a month but im lucky if I get 35 clicks a year from inktomi

Not sure about inktomi, but as they are probably going to be providing results on Yahoo! at some stage soon it cannot do any harm. Costs only $25 a year.
