Hi, my site has a page rank of zero. Can anyone tell me why this is and how important it is for my site? Thanks :-)

Yes, because visible pagerank hasn't been updated yet and you probably have a new site.
Please don't try and drop links for no reason.

Hi, Thanks for that. I will get on to all of these things straight away. I appreciate your advice :-)
1) Relevant blog commenting - nearly always has the nofollow attribute applied and does not pass PR1) Relevant blogs commenting
2) Adding interesting article to the relevant article directories.
3) Using social media as a source of traffic.
4) Revise the code of the page in order to increase the performance. This includes the size of the images, HTML tags, CSS and Java script, caching ...etc.( If you have problems with this, send me a private message and I will give further instructions ).
5) Avoid using incoming links from link farm like websites.
6) and of course focus of creating valuable content.
3) Social media usually does not pass page rank
4) Revising anything in your code does absolutely nothing for page rank - as page rank comes from links and is inherently off-page & off-site SEO.
6) Creating valuable content is a very good thing, but it does not change page rank, again because page rank is links driven, not on-site.
Hi Darren, do you mean ban me? Whatever for?
