    optimizing for photos

    i have about 600 pictures

for optimizing purposes could i use the general description for all of them in the BODY (HTML) or would that be regarded as spamming?
and what about the "title" "description" and "keyword" tags?

i plan to give each picture a unique "title tag"but don't know what to do with the other ones

if i'm giving each photo it's own "name" followed with a general "blahblah" in the description could i use this general "blahblah" for the others as well or should i change this for each picture?

and what's a good way of dealing with keywords? as most photos fall in a similar category it seems tempting to use the same keywords for all of them, or should i just change them slightly or put them in a different order ?

    any helpfull hints greatly appreciated

Vary your ALT tags and just describe what the picture is about since the ALT tag is used by screen readers for blind users. Descriptions help the user and SEs figure out more keywords for each pic.

yep change it and be as descriptive as you can be using at the most 3 to 4 words.

i have seen that google optimizing pictures from alt tag or other keywords from the page

means if your site subject is agriculture and if you published some images then google will optimize same picture from given keywords or site domain name or any other words published on your website

I don't think Google reads (or accounts for) the name attribute. It is meant for naming elements for use in a JavaScript or other scripting language function, and not to have any relation to content. It wouldn't make sense for Google to include it in the algorithm.
