Optimizing a business aspect that doesn't have its own keywords.

I have a carpet cleaner who wants to bring in more commercial carpet cleaning traffic, but people don't really search for "commercial carpet cleaners" , they just search "carpet cleaners"

Would anyone have any ideas how one might bring in more traffic for his commercial aspect?

He needs to optimize for everything related to carpet cleaning your geo target. I have been at this for 15 years and I am still amazed what key phrases people use to find my sites. The answer is to rank for it all with awesome content and links.
