Optimisation for sounds download site with lots of pages but little text
I have a website that provides notification sounds. The content is original, and for every item I have a title, a download link and tags.
But I am afraid google sees just a site with little content.
The problem is I don't know how to improve this: should I describe each sound and come up with text that has no real value for the user just for the sake of google seeing some text on my site?
How do you think I should tackle this?
Thank you!

I it would be good if you place link or address of your website. Update your site regularly and enhance site updates frequency, this will benefit your site ranking. Add relevant content on your website. Try to add a blog and use it for updates and announcements.

Hi Ralph, these are useful suggestions, thank you!
I didn't want to look spammy by placing a link, however, my website is the first in serp for "notification sounds". Which is ironic, for a website with PR1 and so much seo problems

Maybe you should make a pre-listening option before downloading? This will show Google that you have various types of content.

Start by checking what your competitors are doing (including google play!) and you will see that use generated content is a good way to go with your niche, so add a review or comment system to your site and ask your visitors/users to leave a short message or full review on the sounds they download/like or what ever.
Another option would be to take a leaf out of google play's book and write a little content telling people what the sounds could be used for, I know that wouldn't be something for each page, but its something you could have on your main landing page oringz.com/freeringtones/notification-sounds yeah?
Both the above ideas are from simply looking at play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fra.customalerts and soundsnap.com/tags/notification
And for the link, if its a relevant and genuine question like yours your welcome to post the link, just expect it to be placed in the moderation queue due to you being a new member.

Every sound has an audio player for previewing already - I'm not sure how Google could appreciate this
