    only 2 pages in google...?

Hello! When i search for our company name only the first 2 reults in google is our site. after that there is several pages containing our name but has nothing to do with us. I know we have more then 50 pages indexed by google but why dont they show up searching for uor company? I checked some other companies and its the same for them that only the first 2 results shows up.

Has google som rule that only 2 pages shows up from the same site or something??

Would be really happy if someone could answer this.

Yep, 2 pages from the same site is the usual rule.

Yes. It's two pages for a keyword search. Two pages per URL not counting subdomains.

Easy. Google wouldn't want a single site to dominate the SERPs so there is a maximum of two entries. When both entries are in on the same SERP they are grouped together, thats why you see more of these grouping when you display 100 rescords then when you display 10. Some portals using the Google index are choosing to display the results differently then on the Google site, by not grouping together records.

some results will give you this option at the bottom to see more than 2 pages from the same site:
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 67 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

You are right, I have positions 3 and 44, they are only grouped when I set my preferences to 50 or 100.
It's an easy way to find second pages (to optimice) that rank well for that keyword.
    thanks
