Number of Results back to old figures?

Anyone else noticing that the number of results given by a google search has decreased back to levels before they indexed the extra 4 billion or so pages?

One search term I monitor went up to 93,000,000 results but is now down to 58,500,000 which is roughly what it was before.

Have they lost all those extra pages?

That's like the cache reverting to old ones when an update is going on. Normal behavior.
