    number of pages indexed?

I see some people posting that they know only 50 or 60some pages have been indexed.

    How do you know this?

How can I find out if my entire site has been indexed?

Thanks for any advice to this newbie

if you do a search like this:

    http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=site%3Awww.nzwireless.org+%22www.nzwirele ss.org%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=

that'll tell you how many pages are in that search engine

there's also a cool little tool at http://www.marketleap.com/siteindex/default.htm which does it over a couple of engines

Quite a difference in the number of pages displayed between the two examples given

The site:www.example.com -zfgdhdgjjkl showed the most.

With the first example it showed indexed 110 pages.
The one above with the -z.... showed 924 pages.

try to press the "repeat the search with the omitted results included" link if you have it, it shows you all the links it found

Google showed 100 or 1000 links pages but would not show me any more. Anyway to tell the total it found?
