    Is this normal for Google?

I recently created a new town page for roofing.. 4 days later i saw my new
page on google search( bottom of page 1 ). The next day it disappeared , i dont see it at all. I did nothing to the page, no alterations or anything.
Any idea why that happens and is it normal?

Don't really know for sure, seems Google spiders the page and it gets indexed then the algorithms take over.
But that's just a guess, only Google knows for sure.

I noticed this happened to me too for a new page I created.

I believe what is happening is Google will raise the rankings to the page to see how people interact with it when they find it on the search results. If many people click the link and stay on the page for LONG periods of time, it is likely be that Google considers this good content and leave it ranking well.
If people however, do not click as much or if they do but do not stay long on the page because it may lack information for example, then Google will start dropping its rankings.

I think that is what might be happening, but cannot say for sure.

    Hi Apmdesigns,
If you follow what is happening to new sites with a G "site:" search you will see that G quickly indexes new pages but then "404"'s all but the site's Home page for a few weeks. I'd guess this is to ensure G is not being hit with blackhat SE spam tactics.

G has been doing this for years. We used to call this the G Sandbox. Eg:

Mar 2009: Google's Sandbox Still Exists: Exemplified by Grader.com
    Article by Rand Fishkin, Moz

This has absolutely nothing to do with CTR or dwell times. These terms cannot be used to assess "good content". If I want a phone number, address, how to spell a company's name, its hours of business, directions and many more, I want it in less than 10 seconds. Long times on page are NEGATIVE performance metrics for these questions.

If you are able to check a bunch of site metrics you will see that mobile phone traffic has about a third less time on page than desktop pages. The reason being that mobile searchers tend to want simpler answers that are quick to read and action. You can't base an algorithm on such variable info intent.

G has said repeatedly it does not use clicks, CTR or dwell time in its algorithm for the simple reason that these metrics are misleading and irrelevant.
