It's particularly frustrating because I've purposely steered clear of any dodgy, quick win tactics in order to avoid events such as these.
It has been suggested on here that it could be due to a 'node outage'. After doing some digging on Google, I can't seem to find a great deal of information about such a theory. Could someone please explain a little more about what a node outage is, the causes and the solutions?
Alternatively, a link to some further reading would be appreciated.
Many thanks! | Hmmm the problem is it is just speculation that is being offered to explain what seems to becomming a fairly common problem with google lately. This problem seems to be relatively new (or at least recently becomming much more common). I imagine google is aware of it by now and are working on solutions.
The only real soultion/suggestion I have seen offered is to get deep links. Having more than one strong landing page appears to help a site avoid this glitch.
Sorry for your problem and maybee someone else can offer you and alternative soultion.
Best of luck
