No word from Google after filing 7 reconsiderations!

Hi Everyone,

I need someones expert advice here...

After one of our sites www.danbro.co.uk suddenly dropped off the google we obviously started looking into why.

We removed a number of blogroll links, took down any dupe content, removed many of the irrelevant links on our 'useful links' page and reviewed a number of other links.

For some reason Google have not responded. When you type in our brand name in google, this doesnt even bring up the website.

Does anyone have an answer or experienced a similar issue?

I don't know for sure, but it sounds like every time you resubmit - your requests are automatically reset and put to the bottom of the pile as though they're a new request altogether...

Reconsideration requests are a waste of time in your case because the penalty you have was applied algorithmically. You have 8500 really crappy links with pretty much the same 3 or 4 anchors in all the links.

Build another site and start doing proper SEO while you're working to get this filter lifted.

Sorry, you're pretty much out of luck at least in the near future.

Google algorithm updates were released recently, penguin tackling unnatural links and panda tackling content, I haven't had the chance to look into your website but if KP says you have thousand of the same keyword anchor text links then it is probably penguin.

To give you a better idea here is a list of updates (thanks to fathom who I just c/p this from another thread), maybe you can match a date.

Recently Matt Cutts is quoted as saying

some have suggested that google could disavow links. even though we put in a lot of protection against negative seo, there’s been so much talk about that that we’re talking about being able to enable that, maybe in a month or two or three.

So maybe you will have a tool to make the removal of inorganic links easier in the near future.. maybe.

thegodfather may well be right and you're sending yourself to the bottom of the queue every time you reapply for your reconsideration, so just wait.. & I would take KP's advice and start a fresh site and learn from your mistakes whilst you try and salvage danbro.

I've read not only once on reputable sites discussing Penguin algorithm update that it's done automatically, so your reconsideration request won't be taken into consideration too soon...
