    No Sandbox for non-english sites?

I have a website which is essentially a spanish translation of an english website.
    1. The english site (content) has been around for five months. Still no mention in GOOGLE anywhere...

    2. The spanish translation has only been around for about three months, and only has four links to it. IT is ranking for almost all of the spanish words in Yahoo MSN and Google, the only sites beating it out are .gov sites.

Anybody else have any experience to share?

I've heard from several folks at the SES conferences that the Danish, Spanish & Italians don't have the "box", either... Must be nice.

No sandbox on japanese websites also.

international results are very good on google, for US sites I would use Yahoo or msn.

My understanding is that both French and German SEOs have to deal with the sandbox. I even had my sandbox article translated into French for those who were dealing with the phenomenon.
