New Rules For Google And SEO

Danny wall lauches new rules for Google and SEO. He says that Google will follow these rules in 2007, and the update will be from January to May 2007. Also if you don’t trust this guy I suggest that you take a look on this new rules that Danny refers on, or listen to the audio because It says some interesting things there. What is your opinions?

How does he know all these things will happen?

I have never heard of him and his website is PR0.

IMHO, theres nobody around here who can predict google happenings..except for google itself.. we can just throw out guesses and try to aim in the dark, but then nothing is for sure..

No doubt he is a good article writter, i respect him for that, but i dont believe the predictions. And afterall the last page says it all.. Its all marketing buddy. You see steps of marketing..

A: Attention n awareness..Grab the attention of the potential customer
I: Information And create Interest.. Provide the information to the potentila customer with all the facts.
D: Desire.. Creat desire in him by showing him the advantages of using the servcies etc..
A: Attract to take Action.. Attract him to grab your service..

Thats the basic principal i guess that works behind all this.. after all this, the bottomline he would have thought behind writting this ebook would have been business.. Isnt it?? He is using the attention , Information and desire Part..along with attraction with his email on each page.

How will google gage how many click through's a site is getting? People have thought this before and I don't think it would be a good way to determin SERPS, what's going to happen to the people who are on top at the moment, is there just going to be a mssive change? Why would Google change what it is doing and jeperdise it's future as the leading search engine? Someone should ask Matt Cutts if there is any truth in this.

Danny is usually right... except when he is wrong.

His article is really pumping his expertise. Which is fine, but is a bit self-serving. Google is definitely moving towards measuring the quality and trust of backlinks. It also stands to reason that Google will also be using their click through data mined from many sources to some extent. But, your guess is as good as mine, or Danny's, as to how and when it will be used.

Side note: Danny sure took some shots at SEOs. Almost no SEO on this board fits his description of how incompetent we are. His arrogance will keep him from being as good as he could be. If he is so good, why isn't he rich?

I don't have time to read the article right now but it is true. Google is/will be implementing these techniques. Believe it or not is up to you but if you don't you will be one of those webmasters who FAILED to adapt to changing times. The world of seo doesn't stop for anybody.

I have believed this was coming for over a yr now and don't think it won't. I even have a half finished article on my blog I should finish now that Wall came out with it maybe more will believe mine.

EDIT: I agree with Seo-AM on Dannys arrogance, know-it-all attitude and to be honest he is human and has given bad advice before. I don't see randfish or Aaron in the same category. They seem to be sure of themselves but not so arrogant. Aaron even was kind enough to reply to an email I wrote him a long time back when I was a nobody(has that changed? uhh guess not )

I think Danny had a time when he controlled more of the audience. Atleast IMO.

I missed this silly reply. You act like Google is dieing or would if this happened. Infact it would be much better.. okay maybe not for everyone but it would make google even better and so if your site was really great you would do even more business. I think it is a great idea really.

Only facts can make me change things on my websites or in my linking campaign. Everyone can predict or guess... I don't even trust google why would i trust someone else?

I agree in a way however you got to also be prepared. Keep watching for changes and be prepared to change paddles if and when things do start changing drastically. Don't forget back in 01 when this happened and nobody believed it would.

I have no idea who he is and got way to bored to listen past 4 minutes, however, unless he is working for Google .... not likely .... unless he has drinking buddies that work at Google .... not likely .... unless he has drinking buddies that have drinking buddies that work at Google... not likely .... I would bet a WHOLE dollar it is a case of speculation based upon what he believes he is seeing and what he is reading/hearing from "little birdies".

Hey, what a GREAT marketing concept to get people talking about him and his errrr.... services/site etc. than to generate a bunch of Buzz.....lol
