My Posts On a blog
Hi guys
I recently posted a comment on someone Else's blog. I was given the option of giving my web url which I did. I have noticed quite a lot of traffic from the blog and just wanted to know if the post with my url will count as a link for google pr? Thanks in advance |

If the link does not contain rel="nofollow" PR will be passed to your link. This is also referred to as "dofollow"

It depends on whether the page has any link juice to give, how many other links exist on the page, and whether or not the link is nofollowed.
If the link is nofollowed (as many blog comments are these days) then you won't get any link juice, no matter how high the PR is and how few other links are on the page.

You can take a look at the page source and see the attribute of the URLs others added. if there is "nofollow", then the blog will not contribute to your PR. Otherwise, just add your URL into the post.
What you still need to care is the amount of posts with URL attached. If many, then the contribution will be trifle. |
