My Google broke

Sorry. this is a bit off-topic. Yesterday google stopped working for me. It loads the page, I enter my keywords, click "Google Search" and nothing happens except this url gets loaded in the address bar.
(example search term: seo chat)
Code:
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=seo+chat&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=c4d0a5218c92ab7c

What gives? Has this happened to anybody else?

Fortunately, my firefox start page (google) is still working.

I cleared the cache (I have firefox set to open in privacy mode), same results, ....but I did find out advanced search works.

I would agree it's probably my computer but I don't know how this would happen, or what would cause it.

hmmm, guess I'll try re-installing FF.

Thanks

Do you have FF plugins installed? If yes, try to disable all of them and see what happens. If Google loads correctlty, then enable them one by one, until you find the faulty plugin.

A Spybot Search & Destroy or Ad-Aware scan of your computer might also be usefull: I had once a malware that was denying me access to some URLs, loading a blank page instead. That was long time ago, before I switched from Windows to Fedora.
