morning is serp-down, evening is serp-rise

My serps seem to go up and down like a tide.

In the morning they fall off a bit, in the afternoon/evening they rise a bit. This happens almost every day.

What do you think changes in the am/pm? Is everyone else experiencing the same thing? I guess somebody must be falling in the eve when mine rise.

Yep, it does that. Mostly on pages that gets crawled everyday. If yours is not, it's okay, the others in the serps around you are and will make the shift anyway. Some call it everflux.

Yes. Joc's explanation is pretty accurate... More than crawling, it is tied to page indexing progress after the crawl. When G is internally indexing a page (you notice this from missing fresh tag), the serps are notably lower than usually. When the page is fully indexed, it usually jumps a bit higher than usually.
