Mixing XHTML and HTML
I'd like to convert my pages from HTML to XHTML. Currently my homepage is XHTML and the rest of my website is HTML. Will this affect my ranking or PR at all?
Thanks, Michael |

No. The search engines don't care what flavor of markup you use or even if it validates so long as the bots can crawl it correctly. And PR has nothing to do with site structure, just links.
