Measuring number of internal links to a page

Does anyone have any ideas how to accurately measure the number of internal inbound links to a target page within the site? I have tried yahoo site explorer using this set up:

From all pages to only this URL - Except from this domain to only this URL = Number of internal links pointing to a page

The logic behind is that the first expression: "From all pages to only this URL ", counts the total links including the outside and inside the domain. "Except from this domain to only this URL" is the total number of inbound links to a page outside the domain. The resulting difference is the total number of internal links pointing to the page. But sometimes this gives a negative value which is impossible. Because the links from all pages (including links inside the domain, internal links) should be greater always than links outside the domain. I have consulted yahoo about this but they have not given a clear answer.

Does anyone have other tools to measure the number of internal links pointing to a page. This is because, I want to measure the internal link popularity of the page. Thanks for all the inputs later.
