Looking for help
was ranking really well for a couple keywords and no I am no where
I hope I haven't been banned... How can you tell if you have been banned by google ???? I just did a complete redesign of my site along with alot of back end programming ..would this make a differance...also add alot of new meta tags to meta tags to new pages. letstalksportsforum Any help would be appreciated |

Search your domain name in google and see if it comes up, if it doesn't then ermmm you are if not then you just lost your ranking.

If you added bunches of keywords in your metas you could have triggered some alert in Google's eyes ( this may not actually be true, as there are many voices who says meta keywords are simply ignored, I'll refer to other possible reasons thought ).
You say you did a complete redesign. Does that implies changing the names of your files? If that's what you did and did not forward the old URLs to the new ones, then it's most likely a cause for your site dropping in the SERPs. You should try to perform a site:yourdomain.com search on Google and see if it still returns any results.

If I read the hint correctly you are not banned.
Try searching for domain name in Google ... site:letstalksportsforum.com Results 1 - 10 of about 278 from letstalksportsforum.com If this is your site then pages are being indexed but not placing well in search results. Take another look at your changes to see if they are causing the problem. Did you try to spam Google with your keywords? |
