    local domain and redirect

    Question;
    having the main site as a widgets.com and now purchased the widgets.co.uk domain. The co.uk should just point for now to the .com site thats all, would a 301 redirect be fine? the .co.uk has no content whatsoever right now.

    Is the 301 redirect the best solution apart from getting local content, as soon as possible =P

    cheers

    That's what I would do.

    I've also found header redirects (html refresh) works fine.

    Never had a problem, didn't realized it would actually get crawled until I found a bunch of pages I made (for affiliate redirects for customers) were all getting crawled.
