Links page 1 page down from index page, best way.

I have my links page, 20 links on there at the moment, i link to this via an interim page from the index page so:

index page > normal page > links page.

    Would you recommend this method.

    Thanks

I put my links page on my navigation bar; which exists on all pages: any page > links page. But, I also use the links page for other purposes having to do with internal sitewide linkage to AdSense pages.

don't call your links page Links.html...make a little directory and call pages by categories, and optimize every category page on category name

If your links page is more than one level deep (which it will be if you make a little directory), I would advise making a mini sitemap of the link pages so that they all get the same PR.

I don't follow, how would mod_rewrite change PR? mod_rewrite will change the URL, not the directory structure. So unless you have links to all the sub-level pages of the directory then mod_rewrite will do didly. And basically if you do have a link to all sub-level pages then what you effectively have is a sitemap.
