I have acquired a domain that has some history. I just ran majestic's backlink tool on it and here's the results:

This is a very good domain. I'd build a generic Montana site, get it visible for the higher traffic Montana searches, focus on tourism and local attractions, monetize with adsense and be willing to sell to somebody who wants it more than me.

I would not put a lot of time into it because it is outside of my interest area.

What about the interim? I have traffic coming in, and links pointing to non-existent URLs. I've temporarily pointed the 404 to the index page.

What would be the best way to take advantage of it all, short of building a new site? (which I do plan, but my plate is full at the moment)
