Link Building and Spamming

I want to improve my keywords rank in internet but some body said to me about spamming. i want more info about it. I appropriate if you guide me?

I dont understand this response. I thought he was simply asking kindly the best ways to build links without Spamming?

I would say the best ways to get started is to consider Social/Viral Marketing (sites like Digg, StumbleUpon,), and then think about Blogs that have content related to your site. Also, consider publishing relevant articles online with a relavant link to your site (make sure the article is of good quality so it does not read like an advertisement, you may have to outsource to a new writer).

I would also say, consider link directories, search for free ones to get started, and while they dont have a huge weight in SEO, I would say they could give you a good start as you build your link foundation.

Also, consult with any partners/friends with content-related sites that would be willing to link you.

One way links are the absolute best, but a few link exchanges wont hurt.

One last thing, if you can, try to link to your site with an embedded link that includes the keywords you are hoping to rank better for. For example, if I was linking to a Boston wedding site, the link would ideally be in the middle of a sentence and say "I found this great Boston wedding site

It is the search engines number 1 problem as I can see, you should not want them to flagged you as spammer or else you will never see your rankings improve in a positive way.

In terms of inbound links you wont get penalised. You can pretty much do anything and you are safe. But outbound links are where you must be more careful. Only link to sites that you have checked yourself and seem reputable.
