Less results in google searchs?
Is it me or has anyone else noticed in the last 24 hours a huge decrease is search results..
One of my key terms had a couple million results last week and now has 1/4 that around 500k. |

I have the same issue. Maybe there has been an algorithm update or they are tweeking things. For me though I think its more likely that I changed something recently. Unique users have only dropped from the US not anywhere else.

The amount of documents always fluctuate and will drop to come back at some points... some process that goes on and on... normal.

Yes, I have been seeing this on almost a constant basis over the last few months in particular. The results go wayyyy up, then wayyy down then back to normal then they jump around again.
Safe to assume the people at Google are testing or refining something. |

I've seen similar fluctuations in the results. A keyword that used to return over a million results now only returns 400k.
There are numerous possible reasons for this. It may well be an algorithm change.
