Lack of FreshBot updates before dance?
Anyone else notice there has not been a FreshBot update to Google's database for the past 2 days? I'm wondering if Google postpones its daily updates when the dance is near. Any thoughts/insight?

how do you know you have a freshbot done?
Hi I just joined in on this and the past few weeks I have been reading all post on SEOChat, now that you all have been talking about your pages has been crawled with freshbot, can ya shed some light on that? Thanks

Thanks for the link, while I was eating my cookies and milk I came across that section I just forgot to post it here that I found the information. However I have another,

Do images get indexed before the pages? Images from a site I am working on has been indexed on google.com images and was not there 2 weeks ago. Any clue?

The image spider is different from the Freshbot and Googlebot and will therefore have its own schedule and priorities.

Going back to the original topic of the thread, I got spidered again today, but in any case I don't think this is indicative of much these days. I'm pretty sure the freshbot was out and about just before and even during the last dance.

lilbit,

I am also a newbie so I could be wrong but you can see if you are being "spidered" in your log files.

Hopefully I am right cause thats where I look and I usually see when Googlebot, Scooter and few others have been on our site..

When I check all 8 servers on google-dance, my site goes up and down 2-3 positions on half of the servers, but not on servers #1 or 2. Is this Freshbot's doing?

Thanks for the information, I would need access to that file however I do see Googlebot and Scooter and a few others crawling my pages in WebTrends.
