    Keyword research

Is there a difference in using either wordtracker or google adwords research tool to compile targeted keywords for organic search? Or even using Yahoo Search Marketing tool?

Are the results from the google adwords research tool based from other advertisers and wordtracker is based from by searches organically? Or it doesn't matter?

Which tool do most users use?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

    Hi,

There is no major difference though, but you can also use Google API to find the popularity for any Keyword if you are targeting your site for Google.

This is what I'm finding and speculations. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Using Google Adwords for targeted keywords is based upon the google adword Quality Score with that being said the Quality score is based on max cpc, min bid and actual cpc which tells advertisers the min/max impressions and the competitiveness of the keywords. However, there is a piece of the quality score missing and that is the secret part of Google Adwords.

Not only does the Quality score determines the competitiveness of the word which has been gathered over time from all advertisers, but also displays the position of the ad.

So here is my point, using the Google Adword tool will give the competitiveness of a word for an ad but not necessary for organic search. Am I on the right track here?

    Thanks
