What is VERTEX and why is it in my site links?

Does anyone know why the word VERTEX is embedded in the Google site links for the keywords "milleridge inn"? It comes up in the listings like below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why is it your logo/h1/home page link.

Try not using it as a h1, changing or removing the image titles and change the alt text to "milleridge logo" or some such.

I looks like this Joomla application embedded it into empty attributes for the anchor and image tags.
