I'm looking at infographics as a potential source for backlinks, I made my first last night and got it passed around a bit on Pinterest. I of course offer it for sharing on my website.

Can infographics work well for getting backlinks? Would it be good to submit them to infographic sharing sites? If sharing too many articles can cause duplicate content issues, what about infographics? My thought was that a graphic might make for a better/safer way to share content.

Any thoughts appreciated.
