keyword -googlegoo - Does that tell us what was just deleted from index?

Is this true that if you enter a search like

    keyword -googlegoo

it will also give you the unfiltered listings, the sites that were deleted drung the last dance?

googlegoo brings up 21 results, but with one example that I tried it with, the results were

    shop -googlegoo 154,000,000 results
    shop 156,000,000 results

meaning 2,000,000 sites have been filtered out in this dance.

The only place that I've seen this mentioned is in the Google newsgroup.

There are a number of older threads hear that discuss the same, you'll just have to go several days back to see them...

In actuality, any nonsense word will do, my personal favorite is -pachinko.
