    Keyword Competition

    Hey guys me again

i have been researching keywords now and would like to ask a question

when google says under Advertiser Competition , very high advertiser competition does this mean that it will also be harder to rank for those keywords?

Very likely yes. Keywords that people are bidding on are usually the same ones they are optimizing for so they can get free clicks instead. They are also usually the keywords that are worth $$$ in terms of sales, so again they will be targeted for SEO. It won't be a perfect crossover for various reasons but they are likely to be on the more competitive side.

Choose a topic, start writing a blog, and create and test some linkbait ideas and valuable content. Try to build traffic on your own and get it to convert.

Reading is one thing, make sure that you have the basics down first and that you are comfortable with making changes without it affecting the rankings to much. Once you are confident that you can rank for the basic terms on a regular basis then you can move to more competitive stuff. Just my thoughts though.
