Question Just submitted..

Hey, i just submitted a crap load of my xbox 360 cheats and i was wondering how long it usually takes for them to index them??

Depends upon on many factors. age of site, PR, was page indexed before, depth of page that cheats reside on, etc. I can get a page(s) indexed within 24 hours... other webmasters are still waiting for pages to be indexed after a long wait. As I said, it depends upon a lot of factors.

Yup. All we do to get a new website indexed is include a link to that website on our most highly ranked websites. The new site will usually get indexed within 24-48 hours. For new pages on websites, I make sure that I include links to the new pages on the home page at least for a while using descriptive anchor text. If the new pages aren't meant to be linked from the home page or in your main navigation, I'd remove them after they get indexed.

Don't submit pages.

Get links pointing to them from elsewhere on the net.

Google spiders follow links online, if there are lots of links to your sites they hit the google index very quickly.

Sounds like you have wanted content on your site, get a few link exchanges going, get a few forum links going and things should start top roll for you.

Alos make google can navigate all the links on your site and they all are text based or alt taged images. The google will go from the pages it knows about from the other pages on your site.

Yes, yes and one more time yes to what Noj said. Submitting is a waste of time. it was ok 3-4 years ago, now search engines are far smarter on indexing new content and sites.
