IS there alot wrong with my website?
Hi,

Recently joined this forum and find the depth of knowledge staggering, what i would like to know is, my current website is there alot wrong with it in terms of do i have a long way to go before my site is being optimized at a high level?

my website is www(dot)pfsigns(dot)com

Any info would be great.

No, there is not much wrong with this at all.

Its fairly new if the domain record is anything to go by.

That is probably the main reason you are not experiencing the rankings you are looking for.

Some of suggestions

1) Put all style elements into one externally reference style sheet file - eg style.css

2) Put javascript code in an externally refernced javascript file - eg javascript.js

3) Shorten your title and focus it to the term that you are targetting

4) Shorten and reduce your keywords, focuse them to the keyword you are targetting

5) Target one keyword / phrase per page

Many of your URLs are dynamic - eg use ?CAT_id=5

This is not a big deal but its better if you have seperate static URLs, or rewrite them to more search engine friendly URLs.

theres nothing wrong with the site.
I think its user friendly.
The problem you don't get any rankings is that your site doesn't have sufficient backlinks. Try to build more links to your site. though its PR 2 but google doesn't show any backlinks for your site.

what about the massive duplicate content issues?

Imagine you were here:

http://www.pfsigns.com/Catagory.php?Cat_ID=2

and you clicked 'next products' at the bottom

you go here:

http://www.pfsigns.com/Catagory.php?pageNum_Catagory=1&totalRows_Catagory=145&Cat_ID=2

so now if you click 'previous products' you should go to:

http://www.pfsigns.com/Catagory.php?Cat_ID=2

huh?

nope, you go to

http://www.pfsigns.com/Catagory.php?pageNum_Catagory=0&totalRows_Catagory=145&Cat_ID=2

hang on, same content, different urls....

FAIL
(that'll cost you about £1500)
