Is it good idea to publish same blog more than once

    I am writing some articles to get some back links to my site. I am not expert on SEO but i have 8 articles and i am planning to get 2 links from each article to my site but i don't know if it is good idea so my questions are;

1- How many hyper links should i insert on each article? 1 or 2? Each article is around 400 - 450 words.
2- Also is it good idea to publish same articles on different blogging sites with same keywords and links?

on each blog i will have 1 hyper link and each blog will have 2 keywords.
So on 1 blogging site i am planning to land it to home page by using 1 hyper link only and on other blogging site other keyword on same blog and will land to category pages.
For example i have 2 keywords in 1 blog and they are
Cheap laptops: Landing to Home page
Gaming laptops: Landing to Category page
both keywords will be in same blog and i will post same blog twice only but i will use 1 hyper link only on each blog.

    I'm sorry, I don't get it.

Are both hyperlinks you may or may not be planning to insert pointing to the exact same URL? Yes or no?

    • dzine agrees : That MAY well have a positive SEO effect, but only if all the other conditions are met

8 articles on 8 rubbish sites resulting in 16 rubbish links will result in very almost nearly no SEO benefit.

    Hope this helps.

The PR of a site's homepage is irrelevant - mind you.

You know blogs work great for terms no one buys

Examples, you piss me off, I don't like you, I find out your name, I mention you are an asshole on one of my power blogs, it usually hits number 1 google for your name within 30 minutes

So depending on the power of the blog and if a keyword is not being bought, you can make a blog post #1 on google pretty easy

Just use word press, and ultimate seo add on

That's the only practical purpose I've seen to blogs

If you own a GEO keyword like geo.com/net

You set up a blog and any sites you mention relevant to that geo area can get pop

so relevancy of blog to domain is reality

blog.geo.com helps pop geokeywords.com when the geo's match

so you can build a relevant geo network pretty easily with a blog on a geo portal

    google is not that intelligent

    it's a computer program dudes

    another example is

    blog.keyword.com

you can pop all types of keywordwhatever.com's

or even your own sub domains

    geo.keyword.com from a blog.keyword.com

    google is not that intelligent

    so blog with relevancy

if you want to pop a term own the keyword and put the whois hidden and use a different IP than your other keywords

google is tracking whois now as definitely ip's

so when you want to push google around, just hide the whois, use different ip's then blog away on KEYWORDS

pr has nothing to do with how blogs are ranked usually

it's exact match relevancy in blog name to website name

blog.keywords.com should promote stuff relevant to that keyword

    best example is geo blogs

you can mention any type of business in that geo and it's relevant

you eat at a restaurant you like it, you blog, it pops

you don't like a restaurant you say it sucks

that blog hits high on google fast

blogs are powerful tools to hit serp's once you understand how google equates them in relevancy

    very easy to manipulate

    • YoFluffy : I've completely lost any train of thought in this after the third line, sorry. Perhaps if you write in paragraphs it might make more sense?
