Thumbs up Is Banned By Google Tool

Hi everyone

Here is a little tool I made (in less than 3 hours but is handy) to check whether a site OR a list of sites has been banned by Google. Also, it can be used to verify if you are linking back to any site or a number of sites that are banned in G which might affect badly to your own.

Your feedback would be HIGHLY appreciated ...

Thanks!

It would take much more time to recursively crawl all links from your resource page to other internal/link pages. Why not you list all your directory category links manually?

Only addition...

I could think of (keeping it simple) would be to allow you to enter multiple addresses for the links partners pages. Most folks separate their links partners pages into relevant sub-pages...

otherwise, fantastic.

Hi there Guys.

Sufyaaan... Great tool. I already found a site that has been banned that I was linking to. Just as a matter of interest. What does this tool check on a site to determine whether it has been banned or not.

sufyaaan

I ran your tool against 137 banned or suspected links identified by the script I have been using ... 99% accurate ... for both of us

1.
Your program missed two banned sites:
www.awwbn.com
www.free-mp3-music-player-downloads.com
2.
You missed a site that is banned under US Digital Millennium Copyright Act
www.adoredcelebrities.com
3.
Also missing (404) and suspended sites are being returned as valid. (Well I guess they aren't banned.)
www.andovertrading.com
www.p2pconsortium.ipbhost.com

On my side I identified 4 sites that were not banned and your program handled them correctly.

Still checking other differences ... I will let you know if there are any updates

It would check for site:domain.com and site:www.domain.com. if google doesnot return any results, the site is assumed to be banned.

rjonesx

Are you suggesting it also check to see if the reciprocal link is present?

That would be a function outside the scope of this program. Besides, there are dozens of link checkers available already.
