internal pages - no ranks, no descriptions

So I have one site that is an authority in an area. It is the only informational site on the subject - the rest just sell the products.

I've got about 300 pages indexed. The problem is, 90% of the internal pages have no title or description when I do a site: check. The pages that do have titles and descriptions rank #1 across the board for their terms.

At one point about a month ago all of these internal pages had the proper listings with titles/descriptions.

    - My link structure is flawless.
    - I use straight up HTML.
    - No spam, no hidden text, nothing tricky in the least. No cross linking.

My index page and my main pages rank extremely well for the competitive terms. It is only when I get into the "product detail" pages that the snippets are lost.

I can't figure out why Google doesn't include these pages/update them.

There was a discussion about this at WMW not long ago.

    Anyone have any ideas?

If the site is newer then google may spider deeply and include all those other pages more fully after you build link popularity or after their next major update...they do not like to deep spider databases until they have some link pop built up...

There have been some discussions about Google ignoring duplicate titles/content. I haven't seen much of this phenomenon, but if your pages are not new, as suggested by awall19, then identical titles might have something to do with 'no titles/description' syndrome you are seeing.

The site has over 135 links in Google alone. The main page and the first level internal pages have PR 6. I have plenty of PR and backlinks.

Plus we are only talking about 300 pages here. Not some big database.

And every single page has a completely different title and body.

I have had the problem of missing titles on database pages. This has been going on for a few weeks but most of them are showing up now.
