Internal Linking queston
Hello,
Is it better to use the full domain prefix for your internal linking, or relative paths? eg. (URL address blocked: See forum rules) instead of aboutus.php or /aboutus.php Thanks! |

Hi Robs,
It doesn't really make much difference from an SEO POV. I use absolute urls (full ones) because it makes life difficult for site stealers.

I once heard that using absolute URLs is better in terms of SEO. However, I cannot imagine that it has a significant impact. So, go for absolute URLs if it does not cause too much trouble, but do not spend ages on changing your code for it.
