    Internal linking choices.

I have three links from one page to the same page.

On says "Keyword" in h2 tags.
another is an image with alt tags of "Keyword"
the third is a text link that says "more info".

My gut instinct is to put a no follow on the more information link.

    However other options are;

to change the final text to being a keyword orientated text link?
to put nofollows on both the image and the text link.

    What would other people do?

I will assume this is not your website.

Personally, I don't like any link in an header tag. It just reaks of OO. Just me though.

    All things considered,

Point your links to three different, but important, pages of your site.

Link 1 uses one anchor text relevant to the page it's pointing to

Link 2 uses alt text relevant to the page it is pointing to

Link 3 uses another anchor text relevant to the page it is pointing to

Each link points to a different page of your website

each page benefits from a link.

no need to worry about no-follow tags.

Plenty of sites have multiple links on one page, all pointing to the same page. How many times have you seen multiple links to "Home" on the same page?

It is better to have different keyword text in each link, it certainly does not hurt.

Only one of those 3 link is used for ranking, the first one found in the code of the page... if it's the text link... you're fine.

An A is for a link and an H if for a header...

Jocelyn nice to see you are back too ... guess a few of us took the summer off

You are correct, only the first is used in ranking (as in PR calculations), but I have seen several examples where the different anchor text is used in search results.

    Hi rtchar !

I have a summer business and it chews most of my time, then winter is catch-up time for the web stuff... got loads of work on my plate.

The anchor will pop in the searches cause it's still text on the page content... all text count...
