Inner pages & SEO

Hi,
i have web sites & they are doing good from domain.. but now i want business from inner pages.. how can i get that.
how to do seo both onpage & offpage for inner pages.?
like .. www.abc.com/love_life.html

Treat any sub page or standard page - ie products.html just as you would your home page - or domain as you refer to it.

There is literally no difference!

Your home page will be index.html or something similar due to the "Directory Index" set by the server configuration.

If you got good rankings with your home page, you can get good rankings with your inner pages, just follow the same prinicples and make sure you have links pointing to all of your pages not just your domain.

First, prioritize. I'd personally never go around looking to "get more business from inner pages." I'd look at exactly which inner pages (or group of pages) have the most potential and I'd concentrate on building links to them first. Then I'd focus at the next potential category, and then the next, and so on.

That's not to say you should ignore the rest of your site. Channel your efforts where they'll pay off best but never lose sight of the entire picture.

Get more related links pointing to your inner page using your targeted keywords.

You inner page must convince something to Google that they are valuable and have purpose, it is easy to do that by onsite SEO, a lot of tips in this forums.

Not a doorway page which you will set up inner pages for the purpose of pointing links to the homepage for example, irregardless of value.

Many of the sites I have developed and optimized get more organic traffic to the inner pages. The homepage is broad term targeted, the interior pages are long-tail specific. They get great rankings.

Because of search engines, you need to consider every page of your site as an entry way. Search engines can list any page and people can enter there. Good navigation, good internal linkage and great optimization helps Google consider more pages of your site as being relevant. Getting inbound linkage can't hurt either.
