Indexing .co domains
Has anyone had problems indexing the new .co domains with Google?
Usually I get a domain indexed at the very latest within a couple of weeks. But I have two .co domains that were live pretty much on the same day that .cos become officially active and they just won't index on Google. Both are indexed on Yahoo! but not on Bing.
They are backlinked on several sites (including two that are cached daily) and I've done all the social bookmarking etc but nothing.
I know patience is a virtue, but this is six weeks now!!

Have you added the new domains to your Google Webmaster Tools? Do you check your web logs and AwStats to find out if the Googlebot is hitting your server or not? If the answers to these questions are positive so Google has already crawled and scanned the newly added websites but the general public record pages which are like the indexing data would get refreshed in the near future.

I know this is probably an obvious one, but I have seen it happen more than once so it's worth the question. Are you sure you aren't accidentally blocking them via robots.txt
Are you using a cms? Wordpress? I recently noticed that some installations of wordpress with a default install start of blocking the se's unless you specifically ask it to be found by se's.

Cheers for the suggestions.
On one of the sites Googlebot has visited 22 times.
All I have uploaded is a holding page with meta data, h1 tag and some copy - my usual modus operandi when I'm building a website and it's never let me down before!
On this occassion I've not added a robots.txt and there's no robots meta tag.

PS: What's really embarrassing is that the site is a new site to promote SEO services in my local area!!!
